We're going to begin revegetating the Lao Lao watershed very soon, but while we are waiting for the rain to come we've been planting Flame Trees along Beach Road with Beautify CNMI.
This morning, which the help of MOVER, a local community group, and a few other community volunteers, we planted 11 more trees. There is now a Flame Tree every 30 feet along the beach side of Beach Road from Gold Beach Hotel to just south of the Garapan Fishing Base.
Next weekend we are going to plant coconut trees along the beach. I've set a goal of 100 trees. Now we just need to go out into the community and find the coconuts.
